The works consisted of the demolition of an existing single storey dwelling, attached external terrace and general site clearance.
A new, architect designed, contemporary two-storey dwelling was constructed using traditional materials with rendered blockwork walls to a curved footprint, a zinc standing seam roof supported by exposed and curved Glulam purlins.
Internal finishes were of a very high standard with natural polished marble floors to wet areas and worktops, and solid ash parquet flooring to living areas on top of a screeded PC beam and block sub-base. Duoplank engineered oak flooring was used for the first floor, laid on plywood fixed to timber joists.
Externally, a new curved terrace was formed with curved steps down to the landscaped lawn area to take full advantage of the exceptional views, which were accessed from the galleried living area through curved Sunfold five leaf bi-folding doors.
