This beautiful Grade II Listed property, set in the Cotswolds, was transformed into a fine country residence after the completion of its conversion, restoration and renovation.
The property was completely re-roofed with Cotswold stone of random width and diminishing course. The rainwater goods were of cast iron. New masonry was laid to form chimneys and window surrounds.
Vintage French oak flooring was laid in the study, first floor, and attic rooms. The remaining ground floor rooms and barn were laid with new flagstones or had the existing flagstone flooring relaid.
All of the carpentry and joinery was manufactured in oak by the team’s Joinery Workshop which included roof trusses, purlins, rafters, and all internal carpentry and joinery.
The derelict piggery was transformed to form poolside changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities and outside a barbeque area.
A large barn was converted to form an entertaining room with minstrels gallery and laid with new flagstone flooring.
The gardens were landscaped and a tennis court and a large swimming pool, heated by geothermal installation, were constructed.
